Develops and delivers tailored NEPA training; Full strategic compliance with NEPA and preparation of NEPA documents, conducts project review for NEPA compliance; provides NEPA cumulative impact analysis; and conducts and facilitates environmental planning. Develops and delivers highly tailored training and workshops on the National Environmental Policy Act, environmental planning, cumulative impact analysis, initiating planning with purpose and need, and interagency conflict resolution. Is one of three companies recommended by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for providing training on integrating cumulative impact analyses into NEPA (listed in FHWA’s “Interim Guidance: Answers Regarding Indirect and Cumulative Impact Considerations in the NEPA Process”). This includes internal and public scoping and public involvement strategies, focusing the purpose and need, scope of decisions to be made, issues using causeand- effect relationships, array of reasonable alternatives, and impact analyses, including cumulative impact analyses and the analysis and integration of forecasted land use changes (indirect/secondary impacts) for environmental impact statements and environmental assessment documents. All documents are prepared using a proven reader-friendly analytic and concise format that has been accepted by all agencies using the services of Environmental Planning Strategies, Inc. for NEPA compliance.

Using the proven process developed by Environmental Planning Strategies, Inc. for and used by US EPA, reviews NEPA documents prepared either internally or by third party contractors for quality of analysis and effectiveness of format and assists in revising documents for clarity, accuracy, and conciseness. These reviews often result in quality rewrites using a readerfriendly analytic format.
